Congress Abstracts Award

• All abstracts submitted to our congress will be evaluated within the scope of "abstracts awards".

Abstract Writing Rules

• Abstracts should include title, author(s), institution(s), and abstract text. Both Turkish and English abstracts must conform to specific formatting rules.

• The title of the abstract in Turkish and English should be written with the first letter capitalized. The recommended title length is 10-12 words. Abbreviations should not be used in the title.

• Turkish and English abstracts should not exceed 300 words.

• Authors' names (only the first letter capitalized), surnames (all letters capitalized), titles, and the institutions, departments, and cities where they work, in order of authorship. The name and surname of the author who will make the presentation should be underlined.

• The Turkish abstract should be structured with the subheadings Aim, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion.

• The English abstract should be structured with the subheadings Aim, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion.

• At least three and at most five keywords should be included at the end of the abstract. Keywords should be written according to MESH-Medical Subject Headings (https://meshb.nlm.nih.gov/search). Except for the first keyword, the first letter of all other keywords should be lowercase, commas should be used between words and a full stop should be placed after the last word.

• Abbreviations should not be used unless absolutely necessary, and if abbreviations are to be used, they should be clearly written in the abstract where they are first used.

Acceptance and Publication of Abstracts

The submitted papers will be evaluated by the scientific committee by keeping the author identity information confidential. In order for the accepted papers to be included in the congress program, the presenter must register for the congress until 22 April 2024. The evaluation results will be notified to the authors via e-mail. Abstracts presented in our congress will be published in Izmir Kâtip Çelebi University Faculty of Health Sciences Journal.
